Why I don't clean my room.

The other day I was helping Liv straighten up her room and I asked her why doesn't she put her dance outfit away (dance was still a few days away) and put her jewelry box, hair box and piggy bank on her table to clean that area out.

She told me "but mom if I clean up that stuff, lucky (her dog) won't have any room to change and the jewelry box is the door for my piggy bank."

I see...

Yes I did it, I sewed something. I have done it before but it has been a while, and nothing that you would wear in public. Alivia wanted another pair of pajama pants (her Nana made some for her that she ripped) so we picked out some fabric at (said under my breath and looking down) Walmart.

With help I constructed some pajama pants for Liv. I wish I would have taken photos of the actual event, you would have seen the confusion on my face of trying to follow a pattern. I am sure it will get easier if I ever try it again.

Cooper is begging for some Optimus Prime pants....will the begging of a child guilt me into trying it again??

Probably not appropriate

Cooper enjoys being silly, he loves to be tickled not softly but tickled to death, I am not even sure how this started other than he was being silly on the floor and I teased that I was going to pour water on him, with his quick wit he opened his mouth.

Now everyday he wants me to pour the water in his mouth, rather than drink normally.

One minute

I thought this was cute, Alivia was asking me if I knew where the remote was, I didn't so she went and asked Ben to come and help her find it, Ben walked back to her room to help her find it she was saying a prayer- "Heavenly Father please help me to find the remote in one minute"

A Lovely November

November is a great month around here, our wedding anniversary, Thanksgiving, and of course Julie and Tim's Birthday's. (personally my two favorite days, one more than another, but that is for another blog, at another time:)

It has been on the warm side here is Zion, aka...God's Country.

We have spent some extra days outside. This is a picture of Liv in my mom's back yard, picking up leafs from her 35 year old sycamore tree.

Alivia exclaims this leaf is as big as my head.

Dear Santa,

This is Alivia's Christmas list for Santa, she asked me when we were going to mail it and I told her that I scan it into the computer and email it, she was impressed Santa had email.
